The Nilson Insurance Agency is a family owned and operated, independent insurance agency, with offices in Morristown, Sparta, Metuchen, South Plainfield, and West Orange, New Jersey. The original agency was founded in 1928 on the Green in historic Morristown. The current owner, Geoffrey P. Nilson, is the fourth generation of the family. He bought it from his parents in 1989 and directed its growth from a small personal lines based agency to a medium sized all-lines agency.

As an independent insurance agent, we represent many companies to provide you with the options of choosing the coverages that best suit your insurance needs at the most competitive price. The Nilson Insurance Agency is a member of two of the largest professional associations of independent agents, the Professional Insurance Agents Associations and The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.
